I loved the location right in Recoleta, but the room was not so good, it seems like old funiture and not so good cleanning. Elevators where rather slow. I guess just ok for the price.

I loved the location right in Recoleta, but the room was not so good, it seems like old funiture and not so good cleanning. Elevators where rather slow. I guess just ok for the price.
Ugly and depressing defines Apart Recoleta. Staff are unfriendly, it is very dirty and exhibits extreme neglect. Because of its great location guests would expect much better. I was born in Buenos Aires and stay at 3-4 star places when I visit. My husband and I left our "executive room" after the first night. I woke up with bites all...

I believe that the gas regulator in Buenos Aires has recently cut off the gas to the Apart Recoleta building on the grounds that the pipework is of a poor and unsafe standard. When I was there, staff seemed not to be in any hurry to resolve the issue, in fact I was lied to about the real reason for...

Loved the location of the Apart Recoleta (although I never used the Subte so am not sure how convenient that is). However, I think for the price, or within $20-30 more, I could have found a nicer place.
I would classify my room (#K on 2nd floor) as a dormitory: no pictures, minimum furniture, kind of stark, and the linens were...

Apart Recoleta was right in the heart of the Recoleta Village (where there is a state of the art cinema, book store, cafes, bars etc) and of course the famous Recoleta cemetery (not to be missed). The hotel was on Calle Guido and within walking distance (1-2 blocks) from the cemetery, the most upscale shops in BA (Louis Vitton, Cartier...

If this hotel were rated as 2 stars, it would be okay. Good location, but many features of the hotel leave a lot to be desired. Problems: no (or medieval) room safes, bad water pressure, inconsistent water heating, crabby office staff. It would be worth either giving up the location or spending a bit more for a better hotel.
Had a great stay at Apart Recoleta in august 2006. The rates are fair - since it is hard to find inexpensive hotels in Buenos Ayres, let alone at the Recoleta area. The breakfast is pretty good, and they serve it up til late hours. Good for people like me, who, at vacation, like to sleep til 9am/10am. No luxury,...

Excellent location in Recoleta - walking distance to everything. And excellent price for the location. But it needs a complete makeover. The rooms are dated but adequate. Elevators are tempermental. Lobby is lacking. It doesn't have much charm but it's a good value for Recoleta.
It’s a pretty old hotel that demands a complete remodelling. The rooms are spartan, smell funny and the breakfast is really bad (what I hated most). Does’t offer 24hs restaurant service, only “breakfast” till 13hs. The only good thing is its location, in one of the best neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, Recoleta. Summarizing, unless all other hotels don’t have a...

The hotel cant be rated as a 4 star, not even a 3 star hotel. Only the location and the room's size are good. The rest: dirty carpet, bad breakfast, staf always on a bad mood, most of them are not kind and doesn't like to help. If you have a chance to stay in another hotel, do it !!
