The location is very central and close to many attractions. The decor is very attractive, the place is extremely clean, and there is a nice, shaded rooftop patio that is great for reading. Brigit is quite helpful and let us use the common areas for several hours when we had a very late check out. The best deal is the... More

At the risk repeating many others, we also would highly recommend La Antigua Casa de Brigit. Well priced and certainly value for money. The location is very convenient to many good restaurants and the antique sector and despite the odd graffiti and broken pavement, very safe. Brigit is a very warm, gracious and accommodating host. She is a wealth of... More

My review will echo many of the excellent reviews of Casa de Brigit. The location is great, walking distance to many great restaurants and sights. Sure, there is graffiti on the streets, but it is a charming and safe neighborhood. Brigit is always available to help with transportation, restaurant or shopping recommendations. The rooms were quiet with a good ceiling... More

We stayed there twice - coming and going to/ from various places in Argentina. Outstanding value for the money. The brick walls and high ceilings lend a bohemian air, which we liked. Nice restaurants in walking distance. Could not ask for more, especially at the price.

First, echoing other reviews, Brigit is a fabulous professional. She arranged for airport transportation (pickup and delivery) and was helpful in recommending the best of restaurants in the area (eg. El Historico is around the corner), museums and even a place to find professional and interactive Tango venues. The apartment at the back of the building is clean, well furnished... More

Very tastefully decorated with just the right aesthetics for relaxation. Very convenient location within San Telmo and close to some very good restaurants (El Historico, Brasserie Petanque and Amici Miei Ristorante). Brigit was always helpful in making suggestions for restaurants and touring options. Only one small item for improvement is the WiFi connectivity in the back on the second level... More

We stayed with Brigit both upon our arrival and departure from Buenos Aires (visited several cities in between). Brigit greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful with suggestions regarding what to see/do and restaurants. The B&B was a former artist studio and has high ceilings and brick walls. The bathrooms are very modern and the beds comfortable. The facility was... More

A fantastic place to stay! I stayed twice there and I felt so very welcomed in this beautiful, charming B&B, which has been marvellously renovated by the owner. The rooms are big, very clean and make you feel at home. The breakfast is outstanding. A large buffet with delicious components and fresh food. It is a wonderful oasis in the... More

Thanks to the reviews we were not too surprised by the neighborhood... once you pass the door and the rough street, Brigit's place is a haven: quiet, very comfortable, and with a wonderful owner. Brigit was not just a helpful host, she also very knowledgeable about her city and a great guide. We had a wonderful and relaxing time at... More

My wife and I stayed here in September 2011 during a trip to Uruguay and Argentina. The B&B was really nice. Great rooms, nicely appointed. Really nice outdoor common spaces with tables and chairs. The breakfasts were delicious, too, with fresh bakery brought in every morning, as well as meat, cheese and jam. Brigit was friendly and helpful as well.... More
