Funky furnished, secure, clean, well organised and friendly staff especially Julia. Breakfast was pretty good, a lot better than we expected. Good location in a average street. The three reception staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. Rooms were comfortable and clean, with towels changed every day. Breakfast was huge - scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, croissants and other breads and cake, fresh fruit and fruit salad and a selection of fruit juices. We spent five excellent days and nights with Ayres Porteno in San Telmo, one of the most typical neighborhoods of BA. There are numerous good restaurants nearby, and transportation to other parts of the city is easy with the Subte (subway) and buses (note that buses accept coins only). What a great hotel. The staff was helpful and considerate. The neighborhood is interesting and creative - we could walk everywhere or Collectivo to the further neighborhoods. When my bag was snached in Recoleta they were nothing but compassionate and supportive. Our room was great too. Next time we'll stay in the suite!

The place is located in the heart of San-Telmo, close to the restraurents and bars. The staff is friendy and helpful!!! The rooms are wide and clean and the breakfast is very good, actualy the reachess we had up until now.
