Stayed here on business and location is great - right by the smartest shops and restaurants in Buenos Aires (Recoleta area). Rooms are OK, comfortable and perhaps a bit dated but for the price you are paying its excellent value for money: (WiFi) is included in daily rate and its not an extra as in most hotels Flexible check-in time... Am puzzled by the negative review. Am typing this on my iPhone at the end of a two-pronged stay, 4 days before Patagonia, and 2 days now. Stayed for 30 days at the Mayla and I would not want anyone staying here again for the following reasons: -Internet incredibly slow or nonfunctional -Carpets are filthy and torn -Kitchens do NOT have a complete service, I had a single pot and had to buy other implements -Bed was awful, had a lump in the middle, could barely sleep...
