Strategically located guesthouse with good facilities and clean. The staff was mostly helpful (one lady very active, the other passive rather). It is very cozy, the breakfast excellent. Our first visit and we booked 4 nights in Feb. Lots of staff, beautiful gardens and stoop. Bedroom was excellent with lots of storage given the volume of luggage that we take on H. Excellent Guest house, superb location, very friendly and helpful staff. Furnished to a high standard throughout. Large sumptuous bedrooms with very fluffy white towels. Breakfast to set you up for the day. The only place to stay in Stellenbosch.

We returned to Rusthuiz one year on, to our same room, leading onto the garden and delightful pool area. Proper pool loungers, with decent cushions - excellent! “PLace to be in Stellenbosch”

warm welcoming, very peacefull, quiet, this guest house is 600M far from city center. It has also a swimming pool and a bloom garden. Internet free,TV , mini bar, the bedrooms are very cosy. This is a place I would recommend.
