I enjoyed my room (studio 9), loved the large tables for breakfast (a friendly atmoshphere and a chance to meet other travelers) and I was delighted to have breakfast by myself there one day (when my colleagues were already out and about) - listening to Strauss waltzes at the breakfast table was pretty nice!

I recently stayed at Ryneveld Lodge. The weather was very hot and what a relief it was to find a cool and spacious room with air-conditioning. The breakfast is also delicious and the service is excellent. The location is ideal, close to the Music Conservatory as well as the lovely restaurants and coffee shops. It is also very reasonably priced.

The service provided was great and the surroundings were peaceful with no intrusions. The dining area was always beautifully and neatly arranged. Ryneveld Lodge provided an excellent location (a half-block away from Stellenbosch University) and a short, enjoyable and safe walk from wonderful restaurants and shops. I have been staying at the lodge on a regular basis. My experience from the lodge is that the staff are very friendly, you feel welcome, accommodation is exellent and if you do have a problem then it is seen to straight away. I can recommend the lodge to anyone. Tina

After making our online booking on the site with realy nice pictures, we had to stay in an small smelly room at the other side of the road. Service was fairly okay and great breakfast. But what you see is not what you get!!!!!!

The staff were all most kind and helpful.
