The working (!) farm, the recection and sitting area, the nice restaurant and the rooms, located in a short walking distance from the main house in kind of a pittoresque alley, may be a bit older already, but everything is very clean, well kept and lovely decorated. There is everything you need in the large and cozy, relatively few rooms...

This is a charming farm/hotel tucked away from the crowds with magnificent views of Table Mountain from the private patio of most of the rooms. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The evening meal (Saturday) was a surprise and delight, beautifully prepared, presented and as good to eat.
The room was well appointed but lacked a TV which some...

We had the most lovely evening at Rozendal in October. The service was exceptional and Joe the main waiter is such a character, he made it such fun for us. We had a small baby with us and the staff went out of thier way to be accommodating. The rooms were very nicely furnished and comfortable. Definately try the vinegars...

The Auberge Rozendal was quite like a home rather than a hotel for us. Everybody of the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortably furnished, each of them having a terrace of its own. From our room we had a spectacular view of the surrounding area and even of the Table Mountain. Food was excellent...

The rooms were fine but the rest was jaded and shabby. The owners have obviously not spent any money on maintenance in a long while. Definitely not worth 4 stars - maybe 2. Do not believe the website. This place needs money spent on it before anyone should think of staying there.
Quiet, peaceful surroundings with pleasant and accommodating staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and welcoming.
We had booked 4 nights here and looked forward to ending our 4 week holiday on a high note. However, we checked out after one night (even with the penalty of losing the payment for the entire stay - beware).
The main problem was temperature - the establishment, being "green", does not believe in air conditioning, TV, fridges, etc. Some...

We only stayed at Auberge Rozendal for two nights but enjoyed it very much. I loved sitting on the veranda and enjoying the beautiful mountain view or relaxing at the pool. The staff was friendly especially joseph, the waiter, who is a real soccer fan wearing everyday an other shirt of an european soccer team. Auberge Rozendal is a peaceful place...
