We stayed here only for 1 night which was a mistake - two nights would have been better - while en-route from CapeTown to P.E. We stayed in one of their lake lodges which was rustic and charming. The staff were all very helpful and meals in the main building delicious. We opted for a Meerkat encounter and had a very exciting morning watching them emerge from their burrows, expensive but worth it. We would have loved to stay longer and explore more.

We visited twice within four weeks. First time we chose the rooms near the main building and found them spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Second time we sampled the more rustic chalets at the lake and again were well satisfied. The pool area at the main building is very pleasant. Warm hospitality, good service, very nice room but dinner was terribly overprized! Breakfast was average. The sunrise experience meeting the Meerkats is on the other hand worth the money.

De Zeekoe is a guest farm perfectly located close to Oudshoorn and other attractions in the region. The farm is beautiful with spectacular views of the mountains.
