Was a little aprehensive about this hotel given it is cheap and looked to be not like your normal hotel ! Was pleasently surprised however... This hotel was a really nice surprize. Most hotels conmprise of square room but here you get asmall round house(bungalow?) instead. Apparently this is how villigers live so you can try the African experience. For those who are new to the region it is real fun to try and stay a few nights here. Stayed here for two nights, while on holidays. Original rooms, thatched huts. Clean, inexpensive rooms. Breakfast was good, one of the best we had during our trip in South-Africa. But you should avoid dinner in the very same restaurant. Location was OK, not within walking distance to city centre - but still allright. more

Stayed here for the night in November 2005 and was happy with everything. The hotel is standard and clean with great little original rooms. The breakfast is good along with the location as Cheetahland and the ostrich farms are very very close....I would recommend this hotel as a 3 star and would definitely stay again as VFM was great.
