The accomodation itself is not especially spacious or luxurious but is very clean and functional. The location is excellent with two restaurants very closeby. We stayed at the Baron van Reede B&B in April,12. Our first time in a guesthouse, and we loved. The owners (Zoe and Huw) were very friendly and gave to us a lot of tips from the city and the neighborhood. The Rooms are comfortable, with free wifi. Rodrigo and Flavia, from Brazil !

We stayed in room 4. The room was beautifully decorated and well equipped with air conditioner, fridge (honesty bar) and tea/coffee facilities. Clean, crisp linen smelled good. I was there with apprehension because of the low price and I was pleasantly surprised, the room perfect, the breakfast perfect , the owners are friendly and helped me in my visit to Oudtshoorn and also the contacts that I need if I go back on it I would definitely go back, the breakfast perfect

We passed one night at Baron van Reede and appreciated the warm welcoming of the owners who did everything to make us feel comfortable and give us all the local info we needed. Centrally located, it's the ideal place to explore the 'city'. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Great breakfast. Rooms very clean and nicely decorated.

Huw and Zoe are terrific hosts but also wonderful guides to the area. They are located so that you may park securely and walk to dinner with lots of interesting choices. I loved my suite. Sitting on the terrace and emailing while having a cup of tea was just what I needed after a long drive through the Klein Karoo.

We were extremely happy staying at this wonderful B&B. Zoe and Huw could not have been nicer or more helpful. With the help of their advice we had a fun-packed 2 days around Oudtshoorn. What a totally and utterly unexpected experience - the owners are friendly, incredibly helpful and genuine. And that's not all! Clean and comfortable rooms, a great breakfast - just a shame we couldn't have spent more time there! But we'll be back! Thanks to Zoe and Huw for a great stay!
