Knysna Hollow was our first stop along the Garden Route and we were not disappointed. We were given a beautiful and spacious thatched cottage in well tended gardens with a glorious swimming pool only a few yards away. This was a disappointing hotel. Our chalet room backed onto a road and the traffic started at 5 a.m. Gap under door of about an inch through which insects could come in and heat could escape had to block it every night with a towel. Curtains very thin so as soon as it became light it woke you. Very depressing... more
