My brother and I spent 2 nights here in june 2010 (World Cup). The place was very beautiful in Knysna and the staff were quite helpful. Well located in a quiet neighborhood. Very nice view from the manor to enjoy and relax our stay there. Not far from local market and good restaurants. Great luxury bed and breakfast!

I can agree to some extent with comments posted regarding maintainence, i.e the pool could do with a repaint but the house itself is very charismatic and we found the service very good (we were BB)- Gloria the manager was efficient and very friendly, like our own private tour guide and was on hand to recommend places to visit locally... More

Parkes Manor is indeed a beautiful place. However, it clearly lacks of adequate maintenance and the service is absolutely disappointing, especially if you take rates into consideration...

On our trip to the Garden Route we decided to stay in Knsyna for Valentines Day and picked Parkes Manor as the perfect setting for our dinner that evening.
