We had à wonderful time at La Fontaine. Our room was very clean and spacious. Having breakfast while whatching the whales and Dolphins pass by is just amazing. We will definately be back next year!

We had 2 cramped rooms. The one facing the patio where breakfast was served and therefore very noisy and uncomfortable. The hosts were very helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. I would rather have stayed in a hotel for less and had some more privacy.

We had a wonderful time. The location is excellent. Extraordinary view of the ocean. A few steps from the center of Hermanus. Clean, spacious and very comfortable.

We had a pleasant stay with Gail of La Fontaine Guest House. Everything was like it is supposed to be, good service, good breakfast, good bed, good room, good bathroom, etc. still it felt a bit like everything had become routine wherefore it failed being very good or excellent a therefore a bit overpriced.

What a pretty spot and lovely people. Sadly for us the whales had left this end of the Bay so we drove over to the other side and saw their tails there. I would love to come back in the summer, well anytime, actually. Nice little town and this is a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights and wish it could have been longer! Room 1 is absolutely lovely and the views from the large balcony are stunning.
