We stayed here one night in December 2011, we were travelling from Cape town to Knysna on the Garden route. This was an amazing find ! lovely room, great food and amazing swimming pool ! This was one of the best places we stayed during our visit, and it was very good value.

A last minute find for a last minute trip, Whale Rock was great! Our room (#8) which was a superior double was in fact superior: large, upscale linens, large bathroom. A lovely quite place at one end of the coastal walk into Hermanus. Very friendly with lovely grounds. Good tips for local restaurants in the harbour which is very close. Bit of a long way out from Hermanus for evenings - best to drive. We were there during the Whale Festival weekend, but Whale Rock is sufficiently far for it... More
