This was our 7th visit to Villa Coloniale our 5th with the present owners. The guest house is set in beautiful gardens, has a lovely salt water pool and lovely rooms. The rooms are all large, some are suites, beautifully decorated and equiped. All the rooms have a private outside seating area with chairs and table for outside drinks. The... More

We have stayed at Villa Coloniale twice now (in Dec 2010 and Dec 2011) and consider this the perfect home away from home in Cape Town. Raymond and Cornelia are perfect hosts and the rooms are beautiful. No other b&b comes close to Villa Coloniale.

Cornelia and Raymond (and Sylvester the cat and his two dog friends) do a fantastic job hosting you at Villa Coloniale, situated in the leafy neighborhood of Constantia, right behind Table Mountain. Our family of 12 stayed here for Xmas and we loved the spaciousness of the ensuite rooms, which all include a bedroom and separate living area.  The breakfast... More

Once again Villa Coloniale has proved to be paradise. Cornelia & Raymond succeed in making you feel like one of the family and their two dogs Eddi & Jasper are a delight. I can't say much more than I did on my last reveiw other than to say, we have already booked for next year. Keep up the good work.... More

We have stayed at Villa Coloniale on 4 occasions, twice when it was Little Ruo). Since Conelia & Raymond have taken over they have made it into a haven of peace and luxury and the standard has very definately risen. They are the perfect hosts, helpful, attentive and charming. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are beautifully presented, the... More

This truly is a very lovely and "special" place. Villa Coloniale is stylishly decorated in the very best of taste - cool greys, greens, beiges and whites. Spacious and comfortably furnished living rooms adjoining the (King-size) bedrooms. Clean and spacious bathrooms with great cosmetics ( shapmoo, body wash, moisturizer). Raymond and Cornelia (the owners) are absolutely splendid hosts. It was... More

From the moment I called to make a reservation, it was clear that Villa Coloniale was something special. Cornelia (who owns the guest house with her husband Raymond) took my call, and not only confirmed a room, but offered to make dinner reservations for my wife and myself at a nearby bistro. Raymond even drove us there in his personal... More

My husband and I spent a few nights at Villa Coloniale in October. We absolutely loved it. The guest house is situated in the Constantia valley, one of the most beautiful areas in our country (South Africa). We lived in Cape Town for a couple of years (as students) however, we had never spent time in Constantia thus it was... More

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Coloniale for 4 days during a recent business trip. The guest house is located in the elegant winelands of Constantia, offering beautiful scenic views and naturally scented air that relaxes even before one reaches Villa Coloniale. The guest house itself is elegant and charming - an oasis of calm after a stressful... More
