We stayed here for some nights and were a bit disappointed. The rooms and bathroom were spacious but almost no decoration. The location is good and central, not far from the waterfront, but the area self is not so touristic with a nice atmosphere.

Thank you for your feedback which we always appreciate. Unlike a hotel room each property is completely different having its own unique character. Some places are traditional with more interior decoration whilst others have a minimalist design and feel. We know everyone does have different tastes and we do hope, if you do choose to stay with us again, you... More

We recently stayed in De Waterkant for several days at the end of our trip to South Africa. The area is like a little village in the middle of a busy city, with cobbled streets, historical houses and original boutique shops & restaurants. It felt very genuine and not at all touristy, like the Waterfront and Camps Bay, both of... More

We enjoyed staying in De Waterkant - great location, can walk to many restaurants, coffeeshops and shops. The apartment we stayed in was great, booking process easy. We stayed with family so it was perfect for us

Booked here as could not get a Waterfront apartment. Perfectly okay. Comfortable, clean and spacious enough for my wife and I. Only downside was no a/c in the lounge and Cape Town was hot. Perhaps a ceiling fan at least could be added. This accommodation is a notch below the Waterfront, but we would stay here again.

We stayed in 7 Bayview Terrace and the house is awesome. It has everything you need and the service is fantastic. Location is pretty good and the view from the balcony is outstanding. By far, it's the best house I've ever rented in my life. Without any doubt, when I come back to Cape Town, I would rent the house... More

We seem to have followed the previous review contributor in for a 3 night stay at 4 Bayview - 3 couples at the end of September 2011, with 5 friends/family from UK. It was the last 3 days of a 15 day tour of the Cape, and what a superb place to stay. We should have made it longer. The... More

We spent 6 nights at the 3 bedroomed 4 Bayview Terrace although we only used the 2 upstairs bedrooms as we are 2 couples. Everything about this house is great - it's beautifully furnished, has a great location, well-equipped kitchen and the view is unbeatable! You can sit on the patio and look over the pool and the V&A Waterfront... More

Great location, very clean and warm (was in the winter). The staff was also great. A few gripes...The beds are super hard. I asked for an extra comforter though and it was brought in right away. Put one down to sleep on top of and it helped a bit. We arranged transport to the airport and were picked up in... More

Hi there Thank you for your feedback which we always appreciate. Although I know you raised the issue of your airport pick-up when you arrived with our General Manager I would like to personally stress that we do take this incident very seriously and have done a thorough investigation. Being a small company we do not have our own internal... More

My family and I were thrilled with the 5 days we stayed at a De Waterkant Cottage (we were at 76 Waterkant). The location is fabulous -- it's in the De Waterkant neighborhood which feels like San Francisco -- hills, cobblestone streets, proximity of a fabulous waterfront, cafes, restaurants, night spots, elegant stores. The rooms in the "cottage" (better description:... More
