This hotel could be worse, given the age. It's not totally disgusting. The staff are usually pretty nice, if not exactly on top of their jobs all the time. And the location is pretty great. That's where the strengths end. It's primarily a backpackers, although there are some private rooms. I ended up staying there because I am a graduate... More

“Nice Basic Backpackers - Clean and Good Fun”

Hi, Stayed here for 5 days last week. I was pretty wary due to the rate for a room with shower and toilet - R 200.00. However, was pleasantly surprised. Very clean. Shower is literally encased right in the room as is the toilet and basin. Reminds me of Hong Kong and China. But they had plenty of hot water.... More
