More personal than a chain hotel, the Cape Cadogan made us welcome and wishing we could stay longer. Many dining options in the area, but many of the Cape Town sights are a fair walking distance. Room was very comfortable and staff helped us with parking, luggage and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Highly recommended More

After an overnight flight from London to Cape Town, we were more than weary, and really appreciated the warm and friendly welcome that we found here. A glass of chilled guava juice was brought whilst we booked in, and although the room we had booked wasn't available that early, another room was made available for us to shower and get changed in, a gesture that was much appreciated. Cape Cadogan is an oasis of calm, and after walking round the city centre, was a lovely place to come back to. Our room was huge and beautifully furnished, with... Lovely old home converted into a fine hotel in a great location. The staff made the hotel special with very good advice on restaurants, attractions, directions, etc. The shuttle to the waterfront was convenient and the parking was off street if you wanted. The only drawback was the wi-fi service which is currently via voucher from an outside supplier. It... More

My wife and I stayed at the Cape Cadogan for day nights in mid January and had the same positive experience as other reviewers. The hotel is nicely decorated particularly in the common areas - rooms are ok. Really comfortable and well sized bed and huge bath with nice rain-head shower. The real selling point is the quality of the... More

We loved this home hotel where we spent 3 days over New Year festivities. Large spacious rooms, clean, lovely marble bathrooms with double showers and bathtub. Quiet, reserved, staff is polite and attentive to needs. We really felt transported into a different world coming from our busy noisy and polluted Milano. Everything about this colonial style residence has a freshness... More

The apartments are clean and well appointed. The staff is attentive and professional.Hot and cold breakfast was excellent. Location was very convenient to downtown attractions, Table Mountain and local restaurants. My only warning is that one of our units (number 9?) was on the end and was subject to noise from neighboring apartments. We stayed there during a busy summer... More

I had an emergency in early December when the location I expected to stay couldn't take me, and I needed to find a hotel at close to midnight. The Cape Cadogan was just a block away, so I went in to the desk to ask if they had any rooms. It was staffed, but all the gentleman at the desk... More

My husband and I stayed at the Cape Cadogan for the first part of our honeymoon. We loved it from the second we stepped foot in the door. It was so lovely. The decor is so pretty- very light and airy. Our room was so romantic and comfortable. The staff would leave us little gifts each night and really made... More

We loved this hotel/apartment from the moment we walked in. We stayed on the ground floor which had a beautiful, private courtyard and the suite had large windows and sliding doors looking onto the courtyard. It was bright, clean, quiet, supplied with everything you might need on your stay, & comfortable beds too. Loved the elegant decor! The staff was... More
