Lovely place, good spot to stay over for one or two nights

A beautiful little guesthouse in a central location with lots of nightlife and restaurants near by. A lovely old house converted to rooms with antique mix and match furniture and squeaky wood floors. A comfy sitting room and small breakfast area on the first floor with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful smorg breakfast every morning.

You wouldn't find a better *** Accommodation in Cape Town. It's centrally located in easy walking distance to Long Street. Some rooms offer a good view to the top of Table Mountain or Lyons Head. Quiet, parking in front of the hotel. Safe area and in walking distance to Cape Town's most interesting touristic area on Long Street. Very nice atmosphere in the hotel. Large lobby. German/Swiss style breakfast with good bread and Swiss cheese and meat (Buendner Fleisch, e.g.). Had a very enjoyable stay despite very poor weather (storm and rain)

The Fritz was more like a hostel. The room smelled horribly like smoke and made my clothes smell like smoke. the rug on the floor was really dirty. The toilet is in a closet and was gross.
