We stayed in the Commodore 3 nights at the end of November 2011 and liked the hotel very much. We had a room with a gorgeous view to Table Mountain and Harbour. The location is ideal for a short walk to the V & A Waterfront with a lot of good restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and...

The Commodore Hotel Location is amazing. It is walking distance to the waterfront so we could be creative with the dinners and shopping during the evenings. Candice at the front desk was helpful and kind, helping us get checked in explaining about the tasty buffet breakfast and connecting us with the travel desk.

Stayed in the hotel twice. Great location, easy just to walk walk down to the waterfront shops and restaurants. Rooms are good size, not the most modern but comfortable and clean.
Breakfast is not exciting, every day the same and even the potato dishes don't change. The bar is ok too. Only downfall, the water has a terrible taste of...

We stayed for 4 nights just before Christmas. The hotel was very pleasant and very convenient for the V&A Waterfront - we felt completely safe walking back and forth both day and night. The room was fine, breakfast was good as was the one lunch that we had - we ate out every night. The staff and service were excellent...

We spent two nights at this hotel as we wanted to be close to the Waterfront. Location wise great and staff were all really good and breakfast was good. But the hotel has the feel of a Premier Inn and is looking a little jaded. We were on the 5th floor and the whole corridor smelled badly of smoke. I...
