Spent a semester in Cape Town studying and have stayed here multiple times. The staff is really great and accommodating. Great pool, location is in Greenpoint. Not a lot going on in the area (couple bars and restaurants) but it's a short minibus away from Long Street area.

For 350 zar/day I got a room for 2 people - nothing really special but I didn't expect much. The lodge has a bar, 30mins daily access to internet (pity there's no wireless). Cleaned up daily. Very friendly staff!

I stayed at this lodge for nearly 2 weeks. It is very calm, you meet nice people there. There are 2 little nice pools and the staff is very helpful. Maybe the rooms could need a new paint, but everything is clean. I would come back for sure, it is also a nice area and only 10-15 min. walkting distance...
