We enjoyed our stay at Ascot Gardens - nice apartment, swimming pool and very friendly and helpful proprietors. We felt very safe in the local environment, on the trains into Cape Town, in Simonstown - in fact everywhere we visited. We would recommend visiting the vineyard at Constantia and taking the tourist buses around Cape Town. Very enjoyable holiday.

I am in love with the Constantia Valley and wanted to really experience the quaintness of this really majestic location. Ascot Gardens made it that much more special. The rooms are clean and spacious. The facilities quite satisfactory. Adquate secure off street parking. The rooms are in converted residential houses the owner has integrated into his residential property. It is in the centre of a residential area and so you really have to get out to enjoy Cape Town. Spotlessly clean, plenty of room (I had the Bedsitter). Each apartment has its own outdoor table and chairs and barbeque, and privacy due to the well-thought-out design of the gardens.
