I have satyed in Bluegum Hill Guesthouse a number of times and am always enthralled by the spectacular view and great, central position. The owner, Aiesa, is warm and friendly and the staff are well trained and helpful..Breakfast is good and it is a great spot to watch the sun rise.

Located in a quiet and safe area (car can be parked in a garage), close to the centre and within 3 km to some excellent restaurants. Beautifull view, delicious breakfast. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly managers and staff. Ideal location to visit capetown.

Very nice and warm B&B. However the bed was sloping on one side and made my sleep a little less comfortable. The upgrade we got was good, the room was spacious and the bath too but the bed was not. However, the view is fantastic and the service was good. All in all a good B&B close to the heart... More

Back in the late 1990's I visited this B&B with my parents. I've always remembered the stunning view from the terrace... Many years later me and my husband decided to make a trip around RSA. Of course I wanted to stay at the B&B with this stunning view, and guess what? Everything was just as I remembered from my youth:... More

Returned to this guesthouse on Signal hill, with a beautiful view on the ocean, Waterfront and the Cape Town football stadium. Cosy welcome and very supportive to set up your visit program. Nice and safe location for visits to the Waterfront, Table Mountain and the Cape of good hope. Nice rooms for a quiet sleep and excellent breakfast.

My husband and I spent five nights in the penthouse apartment. We loved the balcony, and the main space was large and comfortable. We were a bit bummed not to have a heating plate, though; you only get a sink, fridge and a microwave. The view is stellar, but the hike to the top of Bluegum Hill will make you... More

We stayed 3 nights at the end of Feb. The organisation was excellent, the room delightful and the helpfulness of the staff second to none. The location is good - in walking distance of the Waterfront in a quiet, safe area. Waking up to a view of Table Bay and eating breakfast outdoors was wonderful.

We arrived after a long cross country drive feeling exhausted from the heat. The staff were very welcoming with a much appreciated cold drink. On our first evening we chose to stay in and they were happy to recommend a local take away and arrange for delivery. The views over the stadium, city and the bay were an amazing way... More

We stayed 3 nights in the penthouse apartment and 2 nights in a small double room in the Guesthouse. The location is perfect, walking distance to the city center. The staff is very helpful and the day we arrived we sat down and talked about what we wanted to do while in Cape Town. We got a lot of tips... More
