Upperbloem is really everything you could want in Cape Town. It has amazing views of Table Mountain AND the ocean, and is also in a lovely muslim neighborhood. We immediately felt very at home here. Katrin couldn't do enough for us, including providing gluten free bread for my husband. The room was very comfortable and we loved having such a fantastic view of the city when eating breakfast on the balcony. Great value and thoroughly recommend it!

We had a lovely stay in this little hotel. The location was ideal - near the centre of town, but with a fantastic view of the city. The room was clean tidy and big. Most of all, the owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful - she always went the extra mile to help.

It's was a very large room with everthing in it we need, except wlan connection was bad or not existing in our room. Breakfast was varied and the owner had some good tips for tours and restaurants. We booked a very good township tour over the hotel too.

We stayed in Upperbloem for 3 nights. When we arrived a day early because I had messed up our reservation, Katrin went out of her way to accomodate us and booked us into a room anyway. It was a very nice stay close to the restaurants and bars in the city Street and Kloof Street and the market. Katrin is a very nice host. The few, the breakfast and the service was fantastic. We enjoyed it very much.
