We booked our 2 week honeymoon stay at The Glen in February, knowing it was a predominately gay hotel. We're a straight couple. When we arrived we were not disappointed, the hotel was stylish beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Dean who greeted us was superb, and made our stay an unforgettable experience, after 2 weeks we considered him a friend,... More

An excellent hotel with a great eye for details. Very accommodating & genuine staff. Gay or straight alike - everybody will have a great vacation at Glen.

I arrived The Glen at about 7 in the evening after nearly 24 hours of travelling due to long stop overs on route to Cape Town. So feeling grumpy and tired it was so refreshing to be greeted by a very smiley receptionist who personally escorted me to my room, giving me a little mini tour on the way and... More

We had a fantastic stay here for our first 5 days in Cape Town and promptly booked to come back for our last few days. The staff are lovely, the rooms are impeccably clean and very stylish and the breakfasts are also delicious (the muesli is sensational). Our bed was HUGE and so was the great shower. The free wi... Its hard to start writing about this experience but I can best describe it as "WOW". The hotel is beautiful and clean, spotless is the right word really. the rooms are big, the beds are better than your own bed at home and the people working do nothing without a smile. I am already planning my next trip to cape... More

I recently spent 7 nights at the Glen. Upon arrival(after an organised airport transfer) I was warmly welcomed by a friendly and helpful reception. My initial and lasting impressions were that this hotel has loads of potential. The new wing is fresh and modern. My room(10), in the older part of the hotel was not quite up to scratch. While... I loved this boutique hotel. Welcoming, comfortable, excellent service and the pools and spa make this a place of relaxation away from the busy centre of Cape Town. Dean and his colleagues made the stay a memorable one! Thanks, will be back! Oh just get some new ironing boards!

What an awesome boutique hotel - everything was pleasing to the eye from the moment that I entered the reception/dining area, past the pool deck and through to my room situated in the new wing. My 6-night stay in Cape Town was made all the more enjoyable thanks to the time spent "chilling out" at The Glen. Huge thanks to... More

The Glen Boutique Hotel is a great place to stay. I felt welcomed by the very first second, had an amazing room (in the old house) overlooking the whole place and would have loved to stay longer. Wonderful pool, wonderful outside, very clean and cosy room, great food. I highly recommend this place to anybody who is travelling to Cape... More
