I am a difficult to please New Yorker and I loved this place. I stayed for 6 nights in a suite with the infinity pool out my door and a view of the montains and the ocean that was unbelievable. I went alone because I was visiting my daughter who was studying for a semester at the University of Cape... more

Stayed at Atlanticview December 2009 and can say without doubt this is the best hotel my wife and I have visited. It was our first time in South africa and it will not be our last and much of the prase must go to Greg and his staff. We were looked after like royalty from the moment Charles met us... more

No doubt why the hotel has been ranked No 1 in Camps bay, I think no words are enough to express how pleased we were with our stay at the Atlanticview last week. From the time I booked the hotel, with personal connection with Greg, it was all great, very smooth and comforting to get personalised info from Greg about... more

Loved our two days here - great room, service and restaurant tips. Sipping champagne in The Bath was a real indulgence! more

We stayed in room 3, virtually had our own private pool and felt like millionaires ! Breakfast is excellent. A drink with the other guests before dinner in town is a lovely touch. We can't wait to get back there next November and hope 'our' room is vacant ! more

My wife and I stayed in The Atlantic View for our honeymoon in January for 8 nights. As I was left to my own devices to book our honeymoon, I knew I wanted to make it as special as possible for us both. So my first port of call was Trip Advisor. I was happy with all the reviews, even... more

Having stayed at the Atlanticview for a short stay in March 2009, we were so blown away by the hotel, staff, servce, views, that we had to return, and booked a break over the new year. Actually then decided to get married, and Greg and the staff did a fantastic job in helping us make sure that it was a... more

You feel truly spoilt and pampered at this hotel. The service is faultless with every whim catered for. It is located minutes from the beautiful, bustling Camps Bay but is peacefully quiet once you get back to the hotel. The views of the sea and table mountain are amazing. more

(During our trip to South Africa we stayed in Kichaka Game Lodge (near Grahamstown), Villa Afrikana (Knysna), Akadamie Street (Franschhoek) and Atlantic View,(Camps Bay). Reviews for each can be found on Tripadvisor.) Atlantic View is our last port of call on this leg of our South African trip and, unfortunately, the most disappointing. This is a difficult review to write... more

If you are used to 5 star accommodation you won't be disappointed. Think Ritz Carlton style furnishings with small hotel informality. My strict gluten free diet was provided for without a fuss at breakfast - and also the complimentary evening canapes at the bar! If you prefer to have breakfast delivered to your room as opposed to sharing a table... more
