Called to make reservations was PUSHED to leave CC info but told no one could check in till 4pm. showed up by 430 pm no one was even in the office. was told to stay you had to rent the cabin for 2 nights not just 1. and when we asked about the multitude of cabins that were showing available... We are disappointed to read dissatisfaction in our service based on our reservation policy during a peak time. Our reservation policy requires a One Night Stay deposit via credit card to secure a cabin. If a guest does not wish to make a secured reservation, we cannot guarantee a cabin upon arrival. My wife, kids and I have stayed here twice now and each time our stay was great. We looked all around the area and this was, by far, the superior deal. “The Best Kept Secret in the White Mountains”

I like to stay at interesting places; one-off hotels and motels with local history and charm. The Rainbow Lake Lodge was a great choice; authentic (and clean) vintage log cabins, a blue spruce lined park and picnic area, and pleasant hosts who do the little things that make you feel at home...all at affordable rates.
