Really nice lodge. We stayed here two nights to explore the panoramic route and other great places. Very beautiful garden/park and great dining room. Liked the level of service, we felt very welcome. Had two very good dinners with fantastic wines.

Cecilia is a wonderful hostess, very welcoming and her dinners are to die for! How marvellous to be eating breakfast and dinner on the verandah when there is snow in England! Large rooms with mosquito nets (if required) and good bathrooms. Beautiful garden in which to relax and look forward to a delicious dinner cooked by Cecilia, a trained chef.... More

Seringa Lodge definitely marked the peak in our trip through SA! The Place is very romantic with an open Bar and a beautiful swimming pool. Breakfast was made very individually so that we had almost a different breakfast every morning. Cecilia, one of the owners, made us a 3 course dinner every night! This was actually one of the reasons... More

Seringa Lodge is a very welcoming and elegant guest house only half an hour from Kruger National Park. You won't find better value for money in the area and I would definitely recommend ordering dinner, Cecilia is a trained chef. We booked a full day safari with Roger in their open vehicle and saw loads of animals.

Seringa Lodge is a perfect choice if you want to go on really good safari, eat fantastic food and live in a beautiful, intimate environment. In addition, the lodge itself is a wonderful oasis to retreat to between the activities. The owner-couple are really interested in giving their guests the best experience. We also stayed at another lodge near Kruger... More

I'll start by explaining that I am not a guest-house person. I prefer self-catering accommodation or hotels. In order for a guest-house to impress me, it must really be special... no small feat considering that as a tourist guide I stay in some pretty snazzy hotels.... Seringa Lodge does all that, and more! I give credit to all the staff,... More

Stayed on two (separate) nights. Comfortable accommodation one spacious double room, the other smaller but large enough. Roger Briggs is an experienced tracker who takes safari's into the Kruger park in his own game viewing vehicle; he is also qualified to lead walking safaris. His wife, Cecilia, provides excellent 3 course dinners at a modest cost (ZAR 165 pp 2011).... More

Stayed here in 2010 when doing a trip around the Kruger area - we had stayed in Hazyview before coming to Seringa Lodge and that is far better for trips and things to do in and around the Kruger, compared to White River. Seringa Lodge itself is wonderful however - and worth going simply for the food, and the grounds.... More

We were delighted we chose Seringa Lodge for our first night in South Africa, Cecilia and Roger are fantastic hosts. We had 2 nights here before our trip into Kruger, on our first night we had an evening meal cooked by Cecilia, which was as good as any top london restaurant would serve, and a great setting to enjoy it... We have now stayed at Seringa about 8 times over the last years. The vibe, cleanliness of the rooms, food and roger and cecillia's enthousiasm are always fantastic. The lodge is about 15 min driving from the entrance gate of Kruger, so for safari's with Roger you can be there in no-time.
