We spent 3 nights at Rhino Post from 11 to 14 May. This was my 2nd trip, having been there in March 2012 with my husband. The overall experience was exceptional and I cannot recommend this hotel any stronger! All the staff are warm and friendly and seem to be genuinely passionate about their work. The common areas, such as... More

If you are looking for a place to chase down the ’big five’ or ’super seven’ then stay somewhere else. Not saying you will not see them, we did! If however, you are looking to relax and enjoy a lovely location, beautiful scenery and personal service then this is the place to be. I saw giraffes and kudu from the... More

the trip involved two parts..three days at Rhino post and two days at Plains camp. In both cases the accommodation was first class and luxurious. At Rhino post the food was plentiful..never ending and of the highest quality. Snack at early morning.. an all you can eat brunch around eleven and generous high tea at three thirty and a three... Pros: Had an amazing experience walking, even if you dont get a chance to see any game The night out sleeping on platforms was also great Tents were great & luxurious! Cons: Food was sparse, & bad Only provide 2 meals a day Meal presentation left tons to be desired (very bad), i.e., only had instant coffee.

Like the other reviewers said you get here the real feeling of the bush but whilst sleeping in supreme comfort. How can I have a luxury tent that has a fully flushing toilet! Bernard our walking guide was the absolute star of the stay. He left his car spot light on in error and dropped it behind his seat until... More

Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a holiday during which I also visited Cape Town, the Winelands, Victoria Falls and Joburg, all expertly arranged by 2by2 Holidays. During my holiday I enjoyed some wonderful experiences but the hightlight of my trip was my stay at the Rhino Post Safari Lodge. The Lodge offers accommodation which I would describe... More

I enjoyed the Rhino Post lodge. The rooms were beautiful and nicely appointed. My group stayed for 2 nights and we went out on the jeeps 4 times. Morning and sunset safaris. We got to see the big 5 animals and many more. The bush-burgers (impalas) were plentiful as well as the baboons. We also saw a lot of zebras... More

We stayed at the Lodge for three nights and the experience was truly wonderful, starting out on the journey in from the airport when we saw our first Giraffe. We arrived mid afternoon and were quickly made comfortable before going out on our first drive. That was spectacular and over the next two days it just got better (starting out... More

We walked within 10 metres of rhino! the guides were amazing, the tent camp was old style chic and exactly how you fantasize african safaris to be. I thought i was on the set of "out of africa" A must for anyone who wants to get really close to the animals and out of the jeep for an intimate experience... More

You have to stay at the Rhino Plains Camp and go on the walking safaris to truly appreciate the bush in Kruger. The private concession has plenty to see and you never run into anyone else, which means the authenticity of the excursion is maintained. Our guide Mark was absolutely brilliant, well educated, talented, and boasted a fun personality. He... More
