An old hotel (opened in the 1940's) which has not lost the atmosphere and make you feel welcome the moment you arrive. Staff is friendly, rooms are impeccable and with the surrounding lagoons and rivers serenity is the first word that comes to mind. Food is good, hotel is affordable, what more could you ask for!

We stayed here and enjoyed the food. The rooms are a bit out of date and the river activities are great. The place need a revamp for good holiday fun - new curtains and new furniture please. The river was clean and the canoes in good shape. I enjoyed the pool.

This was our 15th stay at this long standing Wilderness landmark. It's a comfortable, unpretentious hotel in a perfect location on a bend of the Touw River. Nothing fancy, and can sometimes appear a bit tired in spots, but always clean, with friendly staff, lots to do and excellent value.
