Hotel is centrally located in Umhlanga village amongst shops and reasturants and a few minutes stroll to the beach. The rooms are large and clean with a small kitchenette. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. The only disappointment is the roof top gold fish bowl that doubles as a swimming (splash) pool. It is extremely small for a hotel... More

The hotel is really nice ,the breakfast is literally a great start to the day especially the croissants :) mmmmm The rooms are tidied on a daily basis ,however i suspect that linen is not changed when staying for longer than one day as I found tissues from the night before between the sheets. Staff friendly and accommodating More

Apart from the know nothing service, we were put in a twin room despite saying we wanted a double. We got moved after a farce then we tried having a shower and a bath. To cut a long story short it seems each room only has 100 litre hit water tank. So max 5 mins in shower (that's two times... More

We arrived at night during World Cup time and were still able to secure a room for a reasonable price (although inflated by FIFA). Futhermore, the staff at the desk was helpful enough to find a newly renovated suite on a non-smoking floor for only a small increase in price. Three large, young guys were able to fit in the... Unfortunately our group only stayed at this hotel one night. Very clean, large rooms with cooking facility in the room, quiet, rooftop pool (rather small) and nice views of the bach from the room and the rooftop. There were a lot of nice restaurants nearby as well as some shops. I have no negative remarks about this hotel. It was... More

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night as we had to go to a business function at a venue close by. We did not spend much time in the hotel, but we were impressed with the size of the rooms and the amenities in the room. The small kitchenette was nice, although we didn't use it at all. The... More

The hotel is situated at a central location near the beach which is very convenient. The staff were lovely everyone from reception to housekeeping one of their best features. Unfortunately for the price the conditions were not adequate and I would rather go elsewhere next time unless they improve. The problems arose with the aircon which is only on if... More

This is a nice contemporary hotel in Umlangha Rocks north of Durban South Africa. Aout a block and a half from the Indian ocean beaches of Umhlanga. Nice clean place and cheaper than some of the hotels right on the water. Front opens onto a plaza area with a nice selection of restaurants, art galleries and shops. Easy walk to... More
