“A reasonable choice for Durban”

This hotel is probably about 15 minutes outside of Durban itself. It is close to a large shopping complex which has a range of shops, bars, restaurants etc. The best beaches are about a 5-10 minute drive. The hotel is relatively new - built for the World Cup. Great value hotel. Newly built and very clean. We didn't arrive until after 9pm and the staff were really helpful getting us checked in quickly so we could get to the restaurant before it closed. “Great value, highly recommended”

Location and view is amazing. I am used to staying in the hilton in Durban but from now on will stay here. This hotel really impressed me, especially considering it was 1/4 of the price I pay to stay in the hilton. Breakfast was great as well. Only negative was the staff, not very friendly and housekeeping seemed unorganized.

I was pleasantly surprised at the 'newness' of this hotel even though it is already two years old, having been built and opened before the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Rooms are very fresh, clean and have all the facilities needed. WIFI is free for the first 50Meg, would be nice if it was the first 100meg per day. Location is spot on. Easy to walk to the Gatway centre and very handy for the freeway road network. Not really a family hotel as the pool is a little small.... More
