Stayed there for a week in summer and I loved every minute of it. It's a small place, but very cozy. Staff is friendly and ready to help you with anything needed. View from the room was amazing. Even had little visitors outside, local wildlife what I think is interesting. Would love to stay there again on my next visit.

We recently stayed at the Emakhosini hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were exceptional, there was nothing more that they could have done to make us so welcome and comfortable. The rooms have the most amazing features and as our friends stayed in some rooms as well, we managed to see that each room was different but tastefully... More

The ambiance of emakhosini is breath taking the rooms are massive and the staff make you feel like you apart of their family. They are situated a stone throw away from florida rd which was a bonus. I would defn recommed this... More

I wound up at eMakhosini after being bumped from another guest house (Goble Palms Guest House) while in Durban for the World Cup. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. My room, while mostly clean, feels dark, and in need of a renovation/makeover. You get the impression it has seen better days. One of the drawers was hanging off its hinges!... More

We stayed here with our two young children and were incredibly well looked after. The rooms were fabulous and the family room we enjoyed was very spacious. The hotel is very clean and the staff cannot do enough for you. We had some super meals, particularly the curries!

We stayed here in the New Year when visiting family in Durban. We found it to be located in a quiet and upmarket suburb of Durban. The rooms were well appointed and kept. We ate early one evening at the hotel and had an excellent seafood meal (we ate in the well stocked wine cellar that has private dining, our... More
