We stayed as a family with our grown children. The area was recommended by South African family. Newlands is 20 minutes from downtown, but close to other tourist attractions. It is a leafy, prosperous, and comfortable suburb. You can walk the neighborhood during daylight, and it's a short walk to shopping and restaurants. The owners are very hospitable, and helpful.... What a great place to stay. The b&b is in a very quiet road close to Newlands and Cavendish Sq and within walking distance of good restaurants. I stayed in the room with the two beds. It was perfect. The bed was comfortable; the bathroom and shower the right size. There's a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge and I arrived... More
