Life in the City of Gold gets a little hectic. Now add frantic last-minute preparations for the world cup on top of the already nightmarish everyday traffic, and you can probably imagine why we were not looking forward to having to do a 3 week long work assignment in and around Jo-burg in April 2010. We were only in Johannesburg for the night, but this place made a lasting impression. It's a bit of a trek from the airport, but totally worth it! Beautiful property, great location, awesome people! We arrived in Johannesburg a bit early to catch a couple World Cup games and even 9 months before, had a difficult time finding lodging in the city. Great cozy guest house. Just blocks from all the restaurants in Melville. The rooms are very neat and clean, ours was off the main building.
