Very nice hotel. Very convenient on location begin next to eastagte shopping mall and the airport. The bedrooms are simple with all the garden court quality. The hotel has great value and I would recommend anybody needing just a bed to consider it.

I was at that hotel earlier this month. It belongs to the Southern Sun Group. Breakfast buffet ain't bad, the room size isn't that big but beds were comfortable. The bar got a sterile glass-concrete-metal athmosphereonth, booked in by my business partner. I found the hair dryer at check out only, hidden in a drawer of the desk! No minibar!... More

Enjoyed 10 night business stay, extensive breakfast buffet, comfortable bed, usually had recent movies on the tv. Short walking distance to the gigantic eastgate mall. Only complaints were the charge for internet and the lack of street lights at night if you walking back to the hotel from the Eastgate mall. Recommend the free wifi at the Primi restaurant at... Very friendly staff, and nice clean rooms. Hotel has a nice feel to it. Beds though, are extremely hard and pillows are 'double sized' so the sleep aspect of the hotel was poor. Breakfast was disappointing by Garden Court standards. Small selection, very slow service at the egg griller who could not make more than one person's eggs at a... More

Nice and spacious rooms. Modern. In a family room you have 2 double beds, which is great for the kids. Breakfasts are great!!! Very good location. Right opposite East Gate mall - lot's of shopping, restaurants, cinema etc. Bruma fleamarket right on the other side - nice to browse through shops. A lot of African memorabilia to buy. We stay... Stayed for 8 days and the staff could not do enough for us and there were 12 of us in the group. Rooms were spacious and bright with excellent facilities tea/coffee, hairdryer, t.v, phone, the beds were so comfortable it was difficult getting up at 6am every day, everything you would expect for your stay and more. The breakfasts were... More

Stayed there a week. Room was nice. Duvet too warm and no alternative but this is so with 95% of hotel rooms these days, it seems, all over the world. Nice bathroom. Good lighting in room. Tea service in room. Food in restaurant good, not great. Walk to mall considered dangerous even if only across the street on a pedestrian... More

Quite afraid, in view of the negative reviews I've read about the same, I arrived with my 11 year old son for a short week in Joburg on the occasion of the FIFA World Cup and, to my pleasant surprise, I found instead a very nice business hotel with an excellent, rather minimal, service. Besides from a misunderstanding exchanging some... More

I used this hotel for an unscheduled 24-hour stopover in Johannesburg, and chose it because of proximity to the airport and to a large mall with choice of restaurants and cinema. Room (4th floor) was more comfortable, better furnished and quieter than expected (having said that, I did request and was given a room on the quiet side of the... More

Service is very bad, my first encounter was when i was ignored at the counter thinking that someone was booking me in. I thought that was just a misunderstanding and i gave them another chance Then last month on a business trip to JHB, i was booked again, but hey, rooms were noisy from traffic, couldn't close the windows, and...
