We really enjoyed this hostel. It was VERY clean and cozy. The animals were fun to play with. Great water pressure and great location.

On my way back from Plettenberg Bay to Port Elizabeth to catch my flight, I stopped for a night at King's Beach Backpackers. Located close to the Boardwalk in Summerstrand, it is convenient for hitting the beach and the casino. Its a decent place with great value for money, which is good for a short stay.

Very friendly backpackers, good facilities. Enjoyed chilling out on the comfy sofa on the verandah.

This a small, friendly hostel close to the beach at Humewood. The dorms are adequate, comfortable ad clean. There is an outside bar and drying area. Bathrooms are clean and the kitchen though small is well equipped. It is 5 mins from the beach and 20 mins walk to the centre of P.E.

We stayed 4 nights at Kings Beach Backpackers before heading along the garden route, route 62 and teh west coast. We got a nice ensuite double room, there were 3 other doubles and plenty of dorm beds. It was good value and clean. Not a big party place, which we liked. First of all, I notice this is listed as a hotel - I would definitely call it a hostel or backpackers lodge rather than a hotel!
