My wife and I stayed there last night and dined at the restaurant.the rooms are very comfortable and the history mixed with the decor give you a wonderful experience. My wife had the chicken Alfredo and it is simply the best she has ever had. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable and we are already planning another stay there .

Grand suite: Grand in scale. Very comfortable. Interesting antiques and decor. Beautiful views. We made use of every space. Like everyone else we enjoyed the elevator. Our guys loved being in control of it. We also enjoyed A lovely dinner in the Asylum restaurant.

Stayed at the Jerome Grand hotel for my mom’s 89th birthday, it was perfect. The rooms are good size and we had a great view. Loved the blend of old and modern. The elevator is fun to operate. Light breakfast included is a nice touch. Haunted - maybe, we heard scratching on the window even though there was nothing near it to make the noise. We had purchased a bottle of mead in Prescott and did not have a cork screw, so I went to the Asylum Restaurant and they were very accommodating to open the bottle for me.

The historic Jerome Grande is a beautifully restored and remodeled former hospital, now a showpiece hotel with wonderful staff. It is also haunted, but we didn't get to meet any of the ghosts. The building is furnished with appropriate antiques for the age of the building. We found it comfortable, and on a future visit, will try to book early enough to get the suite with a balcony. We did not visit The Asylum, the onsite restaurant, as it was closed that night. The menu wasn't quite my taste, anyway. We ate in Prescott at a fabulous barbecue restaurant that night, then negotiated Mingus Mountain to the hotel. Parking is a little tight. We checked in during daylight hours so that we could check on the parking situation, and decided the best place for our truck was on the south end of the building. Other crew cabs were parked in the area in front of the hotel, so it can be done, but a long-box truck fits better elsewhere. The elevator, about 97 years old, was fascinating to ride, and a very unique experience. The views are wonderful, though best seen from the railing in front of the hotel. I enjoyed watching the night and the lights from our room. We didn't watch TV. The hotel was very clean, thanks to a devoted staff. There is a morning continental breakfast, and coffee and tea are available at all hours.

Front desk help very friendly and helpful! Asylum Restaurant staff? Not so much. Guess when you can charge between $40 and $70 dollars a plate you do not need to be attentive or provide good service. Room was delightful!

We only ate at the restaurant, but this was my favorite part of the vacation. The drive up is not for the faint of heart. Winding your car up a mountain can be fun and scary at the same time. Our GPS did not take us to the right place so be aware of that. Hotel was breathtaking. View were amazing

This was our 4th or 5th time. As, in the past we had a great two nights and wish we could of stayed longer. As, Always the staff are very friendly (especially Sarah) and helpful, its always nice to chit chat with them all. I like the new breakfast area,( Alot of choices) As it has been about two years since we have been. We loved the last room we stayed in. Gorgeous view. We love the peace and quiet, the view and so much more. I cant wait to go back. I wish i could stay for the summer. There was also a book written about the hotel and owner: very interesting and I learned a few things that I did not know and also about some of the misconceptions. Its an easy read. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Larry for your hotel.

We were coming back for a second stay after 2009. I love the Jerome Grand Hotel. I do not understand the negative comments here. If someone expects 2020's atmosphere and installations, go to a Motel 6 or a Marriott, whatever your purse allows. We come to this hotel to enjoy the 1926 Otis elevator, the balcony rooms with a 50 mile view and a friendly staff. I don't know what people did who claim to have been treated rudely. Nothing in the way of that. The food in the Asylum restaurant was very good and beats most 4-star hotels I know. Even though the breakfast is not the full buffet style thing, it is way better than what you get for free in hotels of the same price class. Namely - nothing - in a Hilton etc. The property has a very charmful atmosphere with displays of old things in the hallways. We were 4 people and all of us enjoyed our stay very much.

Nicely greeted, glad to have found parking on the property. Very well taken care of and we slept great! Morning breakfast goodies were delightful. Highly recommend staying here for the history. No ghosts for us and that was OK. Be sure to book a ghost tour for a fun filled trip.

My friend and I planned our trip to Jerome for her birthday. We were able to reserve a room with two beds online. I received a confirmation call a couple of days before our arrival. On the day of our stay, we arrived early and fully expected to have to wait, but we were in luck and able to check in early. I noticed right away the new continental breakfast area with 24-hour coffee, cocoa, and tea. We were greeted with friendly hostesses, and the hotel looked fresh for being almost 100 yrs old! Our room was very large and very clean, neat, and tidy with a spectacular view overlooking the verde valley. The bathroom was fully stocked with towels, soaps, and water cups. There was also a large refrigerator and microwave. Windows opened easily for a cool night breeze. Beds were very comfy and had plenty of pillows with extras in the dresser. We had drinks in the attached restaurant/bar that were delicious and served with excellent service. We enjoyed dinner on the outdoor patio with an amazing view of the mountains. Our meal was outstanding. The offerings were 5 star and delivered with excellent service. After checkout, I received a call that I had left an item in the room. I was told they would mail it to me. I was amazed at the unexpected call and exceptional guest service! I will be back and I will tell my friends. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay.
