We wanted to stay at the Gadsden because of the rich history it has and also the "ghost" stories! We checked in in the evening. There weren't many people staying there mid week, so we kind of had the place practically to ourselves. Like everyone says, the foyer is spectacular! It appears to me that they are renovating from the...

We were there when they were having two high school reunions. We were on the 2nd floor that opened onto foyer. We did not sleep that night because there were loud people all night long. The bathroom was in horrible condition. The foyer was very beautiful.

The Gadsden is breathtaking. It has the character and history lacking in the cookie cutter hotels the a lot of people prefer for some reason. Robin (the owner/manager) is great; friendly, accomodating and proud of the hotel and its history. I have visited this area alone 3 times over the past year and did not have the nerve to step...
