This resort is a beautiful place, run by beautiful people and in a nearly perfect destination. Every one of the staff, from manager Sylvain to dive master Sebastien to drink server Lucianna and her brother Emile, was most helpful, eager to please and friendly. Sebastien was most helpful and a very knowledgeable diver. This is the only resort on this... More

Like some of the other recent reviewers, my wife and I grabbed the "free nights" deal from SPM Hotels. We stayed 6 nights at the Moorea Pearl, then 6 nights (free!) at the Manihi Pearl Beach Resort. Thanks go to the great staff at SPM Hotels in the USA - they were fantastic as helping getting our plans set up.... More

Loved the seclusion here. Over the water bungalow was "checked" off the bucket list! Very clean, accommodating, loved the bread for the fish every day and slipping into the water all day from our private deck. For us it was heaven and just as we could have pictured it.

We only came to Manihi because we found a special deal: stay 5 nights in an overwater bungalow at the Pearl in Bora Bora and get 5 nights in an overwater bungalow on Manihi - free. We actually ended up staying 6 nights in each place and had two bungalows to accommodate our three kids and us comfortably. So we... More

We stayed for 5 nights in an overwater bungalow at this hotel. We enjoyed the laid back pace and relaxation immensely! We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel most times, it was very serene. ROOM: Great location for an overwater bungalow, lots of sea-life right below for snorkeling or just staring at from your private patio.... More

And so...... here we are again, at this wonderful, most favorite of Polynesian hotels. Yes, I've said it all before, but I'll try to reinforce our love for this place, try to encourage you all to visit! We stayed again in one of the premium over-water bungalows. The room has all you need with the most magnificent view of the... More

My husband and I at Manihi Pearl for 3 days as part of our honeymoon in April 2006. I know, I am late adding my reviews. I have a ton of photos to remember the trip. What I do recall most is the much needed seclusion after planning a huge wedding. The resort was so peaceful, and a great start... More

We visited the Manihi Pearl Resort for a week in November 2011. It was our second visit there, and we came back because we had such excellent memories of the island, resort, staff, food, everything. Unfortunately, this visit was not nearly so wonderful, although the location is still absolutely amazingly beautiful. The best way to describe it might be this:... More

Dear sir, I'm really sorry about the poor experience you encountered with the reception desk and the bicycle. I'm currently investigating to understand what happened with the front desk. As the attitude you mentioned is not acceptable and not professional. However, we had several talks together during your stay, and I don't remember that you mentioned any matter with the... More

Manihi is a island with no amusements, no disco, no nightlife, but a lot of silence, nature, and stars at night. we recomment the beach bungalow, as they offer more place around the bungalow as the owb do. Snorkeling is great and the pool is very nice. That the bar closes at 09.30 pm didn't bother us, as sun goes... More

We stayed at Manihi for 5 nights as part of our honeymoon in April 2010. I can not recommend Manihi highly enough, we absolutely loved it. The resort is very quiet but there is loads to do if you want to. We spent most of our time snorkelling from our overwater bungalow, the snorkelling is incredible, the best I’ve ever... More
