Very warm welcome, good food, great beach, perfect location if you dive (diving center located just into the pension). Bungalows are refurbished and charming. Hot water! We are mid-60's fairly active, stayed 3 nights at this wonderful little pension very near the Tikehau airport, and only 15 min walk to "town." The proprietor, Caroline was most friendly and helpful in setting up excursions for us. The food was outstanding, given the remoteness of the island and the difficulty of provisioning. If luxury resorts are not your thing, try a "pension de famille". We stayed 3 nights at the Tikehau Village, a typical Tahitian "pension de famille" and our party of 10 occupied 4 bungalows (about half of the pension's capacity).
