The Intercontinental Bora Bora is a beautiful resort. I stayed there for 5 nights in May 2009 for my honeymoon following a 3 night stay at the Intercontinental property in Moorea. I wish I had joined the Ambassador Club to get the free upgrade because I booked the cheaper beach view bungalow and was really disappointed. If you go be... more

My husband & I spent a week at the IC Thalasso for our honeymoon back in the summer of 2007. It was an incredible experience all around. I would say the Thalasso is by far the best property in Bora Bora (and we visited them all, including the St. Regis). more

The first point made on this hotel must be the location. It is on one of the motus (reef islands) with a great view of the peak, Otemanu, on Bora Bora. This view is the reason d'etre of this island. Thalasso gives you what could be the best view of any hotel of Otemanu, which almost none of the hotels... more

A breathtaking location on a motu situated, in my opinion, on the best part of the lagoon. Beautiful rooms, stylish resort design, very well maintained, great dive shop, snorkelling in their coral garden good, food ok. Added advantage of free boat shuttle to sister resort on mainland bora bora. FYI the sister resort is a very sad, tired shadow in... more

A beautiful and romantic location. Clear blue waters, friendly people, clean accomodation, delicious food. A bit pricey, but definately worth every cent! more

My husband and I waited a year later to go on our dream honeymoon. And it was amazing! I first tried to plan it myself (I love planning our vacations), but all of the inter-island travels were confusing. So I gave up and got help from a very friendly Alison Adam from Tahiti Travel Mate. Unfortunately she had never been... more

We used Priority Club points to get a free room which would normally be the dreaded Coral Family Suite (very poorly located). We were overjoyed to be upgraded to an Emerald OWB at no additional charge. There were about 8 kids in the pool area so I think that may have been the reason-the family suites were occupied by actual... more

The best bungalows we staying in on both Moorea and Bora Bora. The best bungalows are the ones furthest down the dock...less noise and deeper water. They upgraded us for free because we had to wait 30 minutes for our room. They are HUGE bungalows...the most luxurious I have ever seen! The water is very deep...great for jumping and diving...no... more

We recently stayed at the Thalasso on our honeymoon - switching from the Le Moana to after 2 nights. The decision to switch was the best decision we made on our honeymoon. Our review of the Thalasso is below. Please see our review of the Le Moana for the rest of story (including why we switched). We had a Diamond... more
