We had booked the Berries and Blossoms Suite for a night. We felt we did not do justice to the place with such a short stay - it's a beautiful cottage with excellent views and a comfortable, homey atmosphere. We never had a problem and found everything to our comfort, even though we were staying there on the day of... more

We hated leaving this place! I'm gald we were here for two days. the property is beautiful. Flowers and lovely green lawns. and the cabins are tucked away so you feel secluded but not abandon. The deck off of our cabin was very spacious with three chairs and two side tables. Everything is well cared for, freshly painted and or... more

We stayed two nights in the Tundra Rose cottage and had an amazing time. The views were stunning, the cabin was spacious but cozy and the Grand View Cafe next door served up some great food. We used the Tundra Rose as our base camp for a day ice climbing with MICA guides about 5 miles west of the cottage... more

We stayed at the Tundra Rose with a group aging from 9 to 79! All the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with board games and books. There was a nice trail behing the Tundra Rose cabin, and the porch had a fantastic view of the Matanuska glacier. Especially recommended was the Grand View Cafe next door (owned by the... more

We were thrilled to have discovered this little gem nestled in the mountains near the Matanuska Glacier! The handcrafted cabins were warm and welcoming and the Dietrich family made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. I loved sitting on our private deck overlooking the glacier ! We would highly recommend this stay for anyone! more

Had a wonderful stay at the Tundra Rose! Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodations. Great food close by at the Grandview Cafe. Not to mention a terrific staff and amazing views of the Dall Sheep reserve and the Matanuska Glacier! Can't wait to visit again! more

Please note that the Tundra Rose is no longer a B&B, however we still provide the same level of excellence in our cottage rentals. We offer you complimentary morning beverages in your cottage . We suggest that our guests eat meals at the Grand View Cafe, which is within walking distance.

This was the most lovely cabin we stayed in. Amazing attention to detail made for a lovely stay. We initially planned to stay just for 2 nights and ended up extending our stay with another night here. The view is amazing and it is just a lovely cabin to relax for a few days after the end of a long... more

We had a great stay at this very cute cottage. The units are divided into cottages, and meals are served (for a separate fee) at the next door Grandview Cafe. The food there was definitely better than we thought we would be able to find in this area. The cottages are cute and clean. The rooms are a good size,... more

While travelling the Glen Highway in Alaska on Vacation we happened across the Tundra Rose Bed and Breakfast. What a treasure! We were warmly welcomed and couldn't have asked for nicer accomodations. A wonderful setting overlooking the Matanuska Glacier, surrounded by snowtopped mountains, and a Dall Sheep Preserve literally in our backyard! Everything a couple from Idaho could ask for... more
