Restaurant had some good selections - limited though if staying for more than a week like I did, and service slow. Rooms have a great view but I confronted rats in the room regularly and found lots traces of them on my things as well. Other insects like lizards, spiders and ants are common but not as disturbing.

I moved to this hotel from another on the recommendation of a government official - very good move! The rooms are stand alone, open and fairly basic, with no TV or radio, but with a great eco-friendly feel. With open walls and a ceiling fan, there is no need for airconditioning. Dirty!! Bug, mosquito and rat infested. Huge (rat sized) holes in the window screens and the mosquito net over the bed. all beds are water beds. We recently spent 5 glorious nights at this hotel. The owners and staff are friendly, the cottages are different and peaceful, the resturant was good and offered variety. If your travel plans lead you to Pohnpei, make sure to spend a night or two here!
