This place was ok, but the way they market themselves - even the name - give the impression it's far better than it is. They need to upgrade this place urgently - it's very dated. We stayed here as part of a school group booking (with meals included) rooms were warm, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in Ohakune! Very useful and informative service from hotel owner. Large room, but bathroom was a bit small. Unfortunately, you can here the noise from trucks driving through Ohakune there by night. Otherwise, it's a good choice.
