Great location, about 30 mins drive to Turoa ski fields. The rooms are pretty clean and large too. The beds have seen better days and are way too soft, woke up with a sore back/neck....not good when you're there to ski. We unfortunately booked a 2 week non-refundable package here. The owners are extremely rude. We were yelled at and also had a door slammed in our faces when we asked queried the internet vouchers purchased. We recommend for visitors here not to purchase internet as they tell you it is $49 for 1 week, only to give you 7 hours.... more

Clean, comfortable, quiet, well managed. We paid NZ$95 for a one-bedroom unit, which was good value. The kitchen was not the best we had in NZ (no coffee maker - fury!) and the cooker itself had not been dusted, but the kitchen was otherwise clean and adequate.
