Its an average hotel with a nice lobby area, large clean bedrooms and had a good nights sleep. Staff are a bit slow and you have to wait about 10mins to get served, they need to employ more people. we really enjoyed our stay with 3 children, 17, 13 and 11. spent most of the time at the lovely pool and on the beach (until the oil/tar came). only disappointing thing is we were all inclusive and at 7 p.m. the beach bar closed and we then had to go to the tabu bar where children are not allowed.... more

This hotel is in a nice spot on the beach but is far from anything else. So if you want to spend a week in a hotel, eat in the only restaurant, see only hotel guests and pay quite a lot for what it then this is for you. The rooms are average except in size where they are small.... more

I live in Dubai therefore the odd escape to neighboring Fujairah is always nice. In short, if we want to splurge we stay at the Rotana and if we are on a budget we stay at Sandy Beach Resort.
