Pension am Schniederturm is a great little B&B. An atmospheric old building, nice room, very friendly and helpful manager, incredible breakfast (if a bit weird and cheese-based!) and a perfect location right inside the citadel. And it's cheap. I have stayed in a few places in Transylvania and this is definitely the best I have seen.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Pension am Schneiderturm . Sighsoara is a delightful little walled town and the pension is in an excellent location. I must admit I'm surprised by all the positive comments about this pension. The owner is engaging as affirmed by prior reviews but the rooms are very small and hot during the summer, so much so that it's difficult to fall asleep. Because you are forced to keep the windows open for ventilation, the outisde noise adds to the insomnia.
