I didnt have to haggle at all here. Owner gave us a generous price $6 straight away, for a room with a double bed and 1 single bed, 1 bathroom. Room was clean and very well furnished. Balcony had amazing views. Helpful for organising buses, laundry

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and cannot speak more highly of it. Accommodation has good sized rooms is spotlessly clean and tidy and staff really friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned and bedding and towels changed daily. Trips and onward travel bookings can be arranged at reception for reasonable prices so no need to waste time chasing around Sapa... More

Staying here just one night. The room was just meet basic need, got a little noise at night. The only good of the hotel just was the price.

We found the Lotus from Lonely Planet and while it is inexpensive, there are better options available. The rooms are pretty rough (and frigid) with a persistent smell.
