Lovely hotel in a good central location (just above the church) in a calm spot. Large, comfortable rooms just refurbished, with heater, warm duvets, kettle and fabulous shower. Nam is very friendly and speaks excellent English. He managed to organise a trek for us on arrival - we started at 9.30. He also changed our train and subsequent flight tickets.... More

Our adventure to Sapa was a true highlight of our time in Vietnam! I had worked with Nam Hong, owner of the Thai Binh Sapa Hotel to arrange a variety of outings, starting with a morning pick-up at the train station in Loi Cai with a driver and guide to take us to the Bac Ha market. Great, colorful experience!... More

The hotel owner seems to be a good guy and so it's difficult for me to have to give this an average rating. The key issue I have is that I told him up front that I don't sleep well and need a quiet room including during the day because I arrived very early in the morning on the overnight... More

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while preparing for a week long journey. The hotel is really clean & cozy, but I just never warmed up with their portable heater. It's in a good location & has fairly good service. I just had a slight delay checking out in the morning because the girl didn't know how to use... More

We have just spent 3 days at the Thai Binh Sapa Hotel and loved every minute of it. Our whole trip was arranged by email from Australia and everything went exactly to plan. Nam Hong arranged for our train tickets to be collected from Hanoi rail station and when I went to the counter, there they were, all ready and... More

It’s a shame that the staffs (except for the boss who only comes in at night) don’t know English, so there’s a problem communicating with them. However, they are trying their best to help out. The room is a tad dirty, and the TV screen is very grainy, and gets cut over after certain timing. The internet connection is also... More

Pleasant room with small balcony and lovely spa styled bathroom. Portable heater and bed warmer were plenty warm. Mr. Nam made arrangements for trekking directly from the hotel, and our guides spoke English well, made the treks fun and informative.
